MONSTER Jam Birthday Fun

We celebrated Ethan's birthday with a fun tailgate party before Monster Jam. We were so happy to be joined by a great group of friends! The kids had fun playing with RC cars, jumping on the Pogo stick and just going plain crazy! We had dinner, a yummy cake crafted by Mary and even a pinata. It was perfect!

I can't believe Ethan is 7 years old! Today, I surprised him...after dropping Emmy and Seth off at school, rather than dropping of Ethan, we went to Disneyland! It was such a fun day!

Crazy Hair...Crazy Expression!

Emmy loves the trampoline (especially if the cats are on it)! Lucky for the cats, they are much quicker and far more coordinated than Em. Yikes!

January Beach Day?

The weather has been amazing this week! Today, MLK Holiday, we headed out to the beach (along with the rest of Southern California) to enjoy the day and have dinner with Daddy! Much fun!

I love how the kids set up their "camps" in three different areas. Emmy made a princess castle, Seth played with his army men and Ethan dug to China! So fitting to each personality!

Ethan was sure to bring a "real" shovel so that he could dig a "real" hole!

Dad met us after work and went for a jog while the kids played and I watched. Afterward, we ate, enjoyed the beautiful sunset and headed home!

Assembly Line

We had a fun sleep over with lots of kiddos! Stone, Curran and Miles all stayed the night! 6 kids=craziness, but it was a lot of fun. Here are some of our little workers making orange juice in their jammies!

New Year's Weekend at Superstition!

After a slow start and a tire blowout (yes, again!), we had a great time camping at Superstition with the Howell, Jurgensen and Ottonello families!

Dollhouse!

Someone is in LOVE! Emmy is in love that is...even though the boys both can't get enough of the dollhouse, either!

Getting Ready for Santa

The moment we walked in the door after getting home from Great Grandma and Grandpa Rockwell's house in Ramona, Ethan ran into the kitchen and started getting the goodies ready for Santa...before the other kids had any idea what he was doing!

He poured the milk and took the goodies out of the microwave (where Ethan and I hid them from Dad earlier that day).

Such a cutie...in such a hurry...he even left the microwave door open!

Rainy, Rainy Day!

When I first saw that rain was in the forecast for the entire week, I didn't believe it would actually happen. Usually, here in southern California, we hope for rain, but it never really comes through. Well...sure enough this time...the rain has come. It has been raining for a full week! Of course, the kids are out of school for Christmas break and everyone is going stir crazy. Today, they ran outside and played (briefly)!

Waiting on Dad...

Randy and Seth got *lost* at Home Depot. While we waited for them to surface, Ethan, Emmy and I hit the Christmas tree lot! These two...Ethan mostly...are such hams!

Emmy's Big Day!

Today was the big day! Unfortunately, the wonderful 3 year old performance was canceled due to rain. We were all so sad. Next year Emmy, you will steal the show for sure!

Emmy's First Movie!!!

Today we took Emmy to see her first movie at the theater. We saw "Tangled" and now Emmy loves Rapunzel! She was SO excited and, of course, SO cute!
