Ethan had a fun time on his sleepover with the Serratos. He loved playing with Daniel and Sofia, and the fact that their way cool mama had activities galore didn't hurt either!

Poor, Poor Birdie

It is really quite sad, but I had to post this picture because it is so amazing. A poor little bird flew into our window and didn't make it. The *imprint* of the bird was left in dust. I guess we shouldn't keep the windows so clean?

Mommy and E Legoland Day

Today was a school day for Miss Em, and Seth had a playdate with a friend. Ethan and I took advantage of this and spent the day at Legoland. Fun!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous this day. We were so lucky!

I guess this isn't the most popular ride in the park, but it was a nice, relaxing way to end the day.

Of course...Ethan left with *treat*! It is Legoland afterall. I suppose every child needs a new lego set?

We had a really nice day, but Legoland doesn't even come close to Disneyland!

Ponto with the Jurgies

The weather has been anything but typical this summer. Finally, it has started to warm up, so we planned a fun family day at the beach with the Jurgensens. Unfortunately, the warm weather at our house didn't travel with us to the beach. It was cold and windy, but that didn't stop us from having fun!

Back from Indian Wells

We had such a wonderful time back in Indian Wells along with the Howell and Latulippe families. It was a little bit of craziness fused with relaxation and fun. The weather couldn't have been any better for the first week in August. We enjoyed the sun, the pool and great conversation with friends. I wasn't ready for the week to end.

We continued the annual tradition of walking to Don Diego's for dinner. This picture of the group on Cook Street shows that we were clearly from out of town!

For some reason, I didn't really get any pictures of the adults. :( Boo! I did, however, get a picture of Heather right after sweet Gracelyn got crabby and threw a shoe in her momma's drink. Yikes!

Twinsie Sleeping Beauties

Our darling little group of kiddos stole the show at the restaurant! Seeing that they were so well behaved and precious (let's forget about Gracie and she shoe throwing) each of the kids were actually given presents by the waitstaff when we left. They were so darling and quite a novelty in the desert. We (the moms and dads) were far younger than most people we came into contact with, so you can imagine how our 8 kiddos stood out in the crowd. Sweet Emmy singled out a darling older woman in the room and said, "I love you my new friend. Do you want to come to my birthday party?" She brought such joy to that lady--she just about melted! :) I love my darling Emers!

It's About Time!

Seth has been needing a haircut FOREVER. His hair was difficult to brush and always hung in his face. Finally, he gave in and got it cut. It was pretty shocking at first, but we are getting used to it now. It is amazing how with a new haircut comes a new attitude...well *slightly* new! :)
