Happy Birthday EZ Bear!

I can't believe our Ethan is 5 years old! We celebrated by taking a family trip to Disneyland. It was a bit tiring (three days was a bit much for Dad) but we had a really fun time! Ethan wore his birthday badge everywhere, and he immediately learned how cool it was! Disneyland is a great place to go to on your birthday!

After checking into the Disneyland Hotel, we went to dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe in Downtown Disney. What would a birthday dinner be without a yummy Volcano?

Emmy loved the Volcano, too!

The boys had a so much fun running around and exploring Tom Sawyer's Island.

This was Mom's first trip to the island as well!

Emmy with her dad . . .

We cracked up when the pirates in New Orleans Square roused our little birthday pirate!

Emmy was a real trooper! Here she is waiting for the monorail on our Magic Morning day. It was so nice to be able to enter the park an hour earlier than the general public!

Tractor driving at California Adventure . . .

Dad and the boys went on the family favorite, Thunder Mountain Railroad, again and again. January is a great time to go to the park . . . no lines!

Emmy and I waited at the fence and took pictures.

We got our pictures taken with Lightning McQueen and Mater!

Somehow we ended up at the front of the line to meet Mickey in Toontown. We were just touring his "house" when a Disney member said, "Stop right here, Mickey is coming through the door!" Suddenly, we were thrown into a picture; it happened so fast, the boys forgot to smile!

Emmy is now starting to stop and pose for pictures. Smile!

What a fun time!
