Our First Game

Today was our first soccer game this season. EZ is on the Pee Wee Knights, and Seth is a Division 6 Blue Angel. Dad was out of town, so I had to get the kids there on my own. I was a bit worried, but it ended up to be a really great day!

Ryan, Ethan and Bryan waited on the field as the teams got set to begin.

Emmy followed Seth around.

Emmy and Maddie hung with the boys on the rocks.

Seth and the other brothers brought Legos and built ships while the Pee Wee game went on above.

E Man was so proud of his team.

The PeeWee's did so well. Here they are all lined up for the first play of the season.

The Knights were ready to go at halftime!

The girls did their own thing!

EZ and Peter after the game

Then, we hiked down the hill and got set for the second game of the day. The Blue Angels goofed around and posed for the moms before the game began.

Our little defender did a great job protecting the goal and getting the ball down to the other end.

Seth and the gang got a pep talk from Coach Boone during halftime.

When the games end, we always have to spend a little time at the playground.
Emmy Kate loves the slide!

Ethan Zain

Seth Axel
We'll repeat all of the above next week, and then again for the next 10 weeks!
How will we do this once Emmy is old enough to play? We spent 5 days doing soccer this week with games and practice!
